About Novem Communications
Novem is recognized as a leader in the field of entertainment, thanks to the experience of its veteran administrators and to the expertise of its team. Having produced more than 200 hours of TV programming since its creation in 2004, Novem has more than demonstrated its great flexibility.
The company’s top priority is to create projects that are both high-quality and varied. This is why it has called on talented people whose knowhow and expertise help sustain its growth, through the development of original concepts.
With the arrival of Producer Jacques Bonin in 2008, Novem now specializes in feature film production. This new positioning is already bearing fruit: Cabotins, a first feature written by Ian Lauzon (De père en flic, Piché: entre ciel et terre) and directed by Alain Desrochers (Nitro, Gerry) hit the screens in 2010, and Lac Mystère, written by Diane Cailhier and directed by Érik Canuel, was shot during summer 2012 and has premiered in late August 2013.
At the same time, Novem is continuing development work on other film projects in collaboration with Stéphane Laporte, Alain Desrochers, Gabriel Pelletier, François Gingras and Celeste Parr.
Since December 2009, co-founder François Ferland has become sole owner of the company he created with Véronique Cloutier.
